Product description
In 1905, Hill Top Farm in Ambleside was purchased by beloved children’s author Beatrix Potter as her retreat from London life. Furnished with local finds, the farmhouse reflected her warm, eclectic taste. Ambleside is an attractive dark green with a muted blue undertone, originally used to complement William Morris’s daisy-motif wallpaper in her bedroom. This classic green hue pairs beautifully with Linen Wash for a contrasting scheme or Aquamarine and Hicks' Blue for something a little bolder.
